Message from the Country Director

In 1988, while at college Agatha accepted Jesus Christ as  her personal Savior. From a humble background Agatha successfully completed studies graduating with a Diploma in Business Studies at Uganda College of Commerce Tororo in 1990 with the help of her cousin Jemima.

After in 1991 she started work at Anglican Church of Uganda, Mbale in 1991 as Accounts Assistant and later joined Uganda Women Concern Ministry in 1993 where she worked as Finance Administrator.

After school Agatha was responsible for looking after her   parents, brothers and sisters. Currently she is the TMAF Country Director.

With no donor funding the task of building TMAF became a huge mountain for Ronald and Agatha. However, recalling Richard’s exaltation founding message in 2001, Ronald and Agatha followed the message “have confidence in Jesus (Hebrews 4:16) and that “private defeat leads to public defeat”. Therefore they trusted Jesus Christ for success Isaiah 61:1-3.

Accordingly, God himself had to provide away by sending Ronald to Melbourne Australia on study. Ronald and Agatha both lived in Melbourne faithfully serving the Lord Jesus during the period 2004-2005 in Footscray Church of Christ. While in Church Ronald and Agatha only trusted Jesus Christ.

The turning point of the future of TMAF was an announcement that was made by Mr. John Michealides one of the brethren Ronald and Agatha lived with. John informed the Christians that Ronald and Agatha need support for a project when they go back to Uganda.

The Church led by Pastor Geoff Casey and Assistant Pastor Arthur Bolkas  received the news with joy and the whole Church decided to support Ronald and Agatha to equip TMAF with medical equipment and supplies.

Trusting Jesus Christ and serving Him faithfully has been the banner behind TMAF growth (1cor. 10:13). Early 2005 John informed Ronald that he should pray to God for mercy “Vitality Care has hospital beds and other equipment they can donate to TMAF”.

Indeed when John and Ronald visited Vitality Care donated 24 hospital beds, mattresses and some other equipment. Pastor Geoff, Arthur and the Church played a significant role in ensuring that the donation comes by offering to transport the container from Melbourne.

This was midnight to the life of TMAF, starting to operate as a Community Based Organization in 2006 and in 2009; TMAF was registered as a Non-Government Organization
